Sonia, Sean and their two lovely children took a little trip to San Diego to get married. I LOVE little weekday weddings like this! It was a beautiful albeit windy Wednesday and the 7 of us (if you include my assistant and I as well as the officiant) had a blast.

Katharine was downright giddy getting into her amazing Vera Wang gown. It was so cute. She was like a kid playing dress up when it came to playing with her floor length veil as well. All the stuff great images are made of!

Another beautiful day at the beach at the Del, what more could I ask for? Amanda wanted a “Black & White” wedding and she got it. The decor was perfect thanks to Adrianne Smith Floral Design and of course the event went without a hitch thanks to the fabulous Susanne Duffy of Crown Weddings. I also really loved the bridesmaid dresses from J.Crew, they were easy and comfortable and made everyone look great!

Amber and Chris live in Oregon but wanted to do their engagement session here in San Diego on the beach in Coronado. Their wedding in December will be held at the Hotel Del and they wanted to send their guests a little teaser (with the announcements) of what they would be missing if they didn’t come. I’m sure everyone will answer YES! See you in December!

We had the pleasure of photographing a fund-raiser today for Autism & mental health. The event was sponsored by Janssen with a enormous silent auction and a performance by Judy Collins.

I’ve decided to showcase a favorite vendor every so often here on the blog. All types are fair game as there are many talented people here in San Diego that I work with every week. Picking a really talented and reliable person for your event is the key to having a relaxing and flawless day. Anything I can do to help your day go perfectly I’m all over! Today we will start with a florist.
Adrianne Smith Floral Design is getting the shout out this week. Besides being the nicest, most thoughtful and wonderful person ever, she is also an amazing designer! Her flowers are truly stunning… very earthy & organic (but not a hint of granola). She always seems to go the extra mile for her clients, all I ever hear are raves. (She’s also a bit of a steal)
