Danielle & Greg: chapter two

Danielle and Greg had an amazing wedding at Rancho Valencia in 2006. Joan Whalen was the coordinator, Karen Tran did the flowers and Wayne Foster provided the excellent entertainment.

Fast forward to 2008 and I get a call from Danielle …. do you do baby photos??? (as I jump up and down) “Of course I do!!!! What is her name?” Danielle and Greg live in the Bay area but were going to be in San Diego visiting relatives for a short time and wanted to come in for a quick portrait session. “Um, yeah!!!!” I love keeping up with my wedding couples after the fact, and my favorite part is the babies!!! So, introducing baby Adrianna and her lucky parents…..

Perfection at the Four Seasons - Jenny & Brad

There is nothing like the service at the Four Seasons, it is pretty darn amazing. There was a wedding I was at recently (not this one) where during the ceremony, someone from a nearby balcony started hollering “don’t do it”….. well needless to say that person was silenced within seconds. I was amazed. The banquet manager is AMAZING as is the sales staff. I know this sounds like a big ‘ol commercial, but hey, I work there a lot and getting a report from someone in the know is important, right?

Well, Jenny and Brad got the star treatment for sure at their wedding. Everything ran like clockwork and it all was PERFECT! Beautiful bride, fun & cute groom, energetic parents, beautiful decor and fantastic food. I never saw a person at the wedding that didn’t have a big smile on their face.

I discovered a new (to me) fun wedding blog to draw inspiration from. The Snippet & Ink blog came to my attention because she used one of my images in her recent post. Lina & Aaron - a sweet wedding at home

I LOVE weddings in private locations. It means I get to play at a location I’ve never been before, my favorite thing!

Lina & Aaron are very private people so I’m not showing a ton of images today, but a handful still works fine.

An Engagement Session at Disneyland - John & Jennifer

How appropriate to do an engagement session at the “happiest place on earth”? It was the perfect location for Jennifer and John as they are season ticket holders and visit on a very regular basis. Disneyland is an interesting place to shoot. Technically we aren’t allowed to do a “commercial” shoot there without paying a hefty fee for park usage. The only way around this is to lay low and not bring attention to yourselves. We did quite well I think!
