Wedding blowout at the Hard Rock San Diego – Daniella & Alex
October 28th, 2008
Daniella and Alex know how to party… and so do all 500 of their friends! This was an amazing, big, fun sexy party and everyone had a blast.
Daniella works with Botanica, one of San Diego’s most beautiful purveyors of modern floral decor. Well they pulled out all the stops for this wedding, I think they must have emptied their entire warehouse to fill up the giant ballroom at the Hard Rock.
Daniella and Alex honeymooned in Thailand, can’t wait to hear about their trip!

Great shots! I especially love the one with the two guys staring in wonder at the wedding couple walking by on the sidewalk.

Funny day today! I just received an email about the photo above of the two guys walking toward the camera as Daniella & Alex walk away. (They have a very confused look on their faces and I just found it to be a funny shot.)
Here is the email I received today about it, really made me laugh:
“Hi, I’m a wedding photographer in San Diego and my girlfriend sat next to your ex-boyfriend on a plane last month. I know, funny, right? But wait, it gets better. I was checking out your blog (very nice work by the way) and on your most recent post, there’s a shot of your bride and groom walking down a street and two guys walking the other way with the funniest looks on their faces. Well, the guy on the left is a friend of mine. I called him to tell him about the picture. He said he was thinking GOD! I’m glad that’s not me when he was walking by. It totally comes across in your shot. So funny! Anyway, I love your work! Happy Halloween!” – Chris

What great wedding pictures. I especially loved the table centerpieces! Can’t tell from the pics what they are, but
they sure look terrific.

WOW your wedding photos are amazing! I love your lighting as well. I love the casual feeling of it all. I’ve been struggling with on location lighting. Any advice?
Thanks-Greer
